Short summary (Apr. 1st, 2022):
Roughly 47 Miles/75 km, 8 hrs on the road (incl. breaks), some tailwind.
Very nice passages along the beaches, A1A with bike lane, riding around Ft. Lauderdale Airport is a bit adventurous. After Ft Lauderdale, we just continued on A1A not following the proposed greenway directions.
This morning, we left Miami Beach at sunrise:
Then, we continued for quite some time along A1A and the beaches.
In Fort Lauderdale, we had to pass first the airport and then the city – also with the channels and the boats.
Continuing on A1A, we arrived around 1500 in Deerfield Beach and used the time to jump into the sea and have a nice dinner (with 1-2 beers).
