Short summary (May 15th, 2022):
Today, we did a relatively short stage of about 40 miles / 64 km in 5 1/2 hrs.
We cycled around 15 miles on smaller streets, followed by more than 20 miles on a nice bike trail and finally a few miles to get into Providence town center.
This day started again with some mist. In Moosup a short bike trail, then again onto smaller roads. After around 10 miles, we crossed the border to Rhode Island.
Then we got to the Whashington Secondary Railroad Trail, using an old railroad corridor.
After that, we quickly came to Providence. As we were too early for our hotel room, we had to wait first with a coffee, then with a beer in the Trinity Beer Garden.
And finally – dinner at Trinity Brewhouse.
