Short summary (Apr. 21 st, 2022):
We did about 45 miles / 72 km in around 6hrs with alomst no wind.
Today, we did not follow the East Coast Greenway route, but short-cutted directly to Cary using smaller roads as we wanted to meet friends in the late afternoon. The Greenway route would have been around 70 miles.
For our shortcut, we still used smaller roads to come to Cary. In the beginning a bike trail between Dunn and Erwin (former railroad track) and toward the end again a nice trail in Cary.
On this route – the Harnett Regional Jetport and the Campbell University.
Coming into Cary, one of the may nice bike trails in this area before arriving at our hotel.
And finally – a very nice evening with Tina, a friend of Claudia from Loop and Learn. She and her family invited us to a delicious dinner at home and some nice beers at Fortnight Brewing. What a lovely evening with you all, thank you so much.
